Shannon Karcher Ed.D.

Dr. Shannon Karcher has over 19 years of experience within special education in urban, suburban and rural education.  Shannon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from St. John Fisher College (Rochester, NY), Master’s of Education in Special Education from Roberts Wesleyan College (Rochester, NY) and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College (Madison, Wi). 

Throughout Shannon’s career, she has cultivated strong expertise in educational leadership and demonstrated herself to be an authentic, reliable, professional, and efficient team member. Shannon is accustomed to the rigors of performing important duties within fast-paced, highly regulated environments requiring an exceptional attention to detail, impeccable accuracy, and outstanding communication skills. Her abilities have allowed her to secure incredible successes for each school she has partnered with, and she is confident of her ability to secure similar successes for your student, teacher or team.

Some of Shannon’s accomplishments include her coordination of programs including Special Education, Health Services, Counseling, English Language Learners, Related Services, and Academic / Career plans.  Additionally, she has devised and deployed both social and emotional programming for at-risk youth. Furthermore, her strong background in special education instruction and program planning alongside her demonstrated understanding of diverse student needs allowed her to fulfill fluctuating student needs. Her ability to lead academic progress and prioritize student success combined with her aptitude for communicating goal progression to executive teams will allow her to continue to succeed with your educational needs as well, and she welcomes your connection!
